The women made about 200 gift bags for the district’s Meals on Wheels clients, including hot cross buns and Easter eggs.
President Trish Johnson said the group enjoyed making up the gift bags and the clients were excited to receive them.
“They really appreciate it,” she said.
“We’ve been doing it as an annual service for about five years.”
Maureen Quickenden said it was part of their service day activities.
“We also take elderly people to the open day for Calala Cottage,” Mrs Johnson said.
“We make up the gift bags to make others feel happy at Easter who may not have people visiting them and it’s a bit of extra TLC.”
