Best Display – 1950 FX Holden (48/215) – Bruce and Judy Soper, Bolwarra (near Maitland).
The best display vehicle was numbered 1590th in Australia after World War II.
It was ordered in 1949 but not delivered until 13 months later in 1950.
The original owners drove it for 25 years and stored it for another 25 until Bruce and Judy Soper bought the vehicle in March 2000 to begin restoration.
After the deduction of costs, Tamworth West Rotary Club hope to provide tens of thousands of dollars to local charities from money raised through motor show entries.
