The sold-out pop-up wine bar kicked off the 10-day Taste Tamworth Festival – and it was such a success organisers are planning to hold it over two successive nights next year.
Taste Tamworth Festival organiser Catherine Burton said the pop-up bar, featuring wines from Merilba Estate (Uralla) and the New England Brewing Company’s award-winning beers, filled a niche.
“There’s not a lot in between a pub, a club or a restaurant – and I think this addressed that,” Ms Burton said.
A “really good cross-section” of partygoers aged 25 to 55 also enjoyed dressing up and being photographed at the Happy Booth.
Lifeline’s Op shop One of a Kind provided the funky furniture and glasses.
