The children were enjoying Farm Day and among all the little farmers, there were even a few “animals” including a cute little duck called Caitlin.
The day was designed to show the kids the importance of farms to the
community, with a visit to the school farm a highlight.
Prep teacher Sue Turner said during the visit, the students got up close with sheep and chickens and learned all about riding a horse from one of their classmates.
Cooking was also on the menu, the kids baking bread and making butter, only slightly less fun than jumping on the hay bales!
