THERE were tri-cornered feathered hats, swords, eye patches and plenty of pirate banter as hundreds of locals frocked up in the name of charity on Saturday night.

TRECC resembled a scene from Pirates of the Caribbean as buccaneers, captains, wenches, lasses and everything in between sailed the night away for the Pirates of Treasure Cove Charity Ball.
The night was all for a good cause, with locals digging deep to raise money for the operating theatres at Tamworth hospital.
