The Tamworth Support Group of Arthritis and Osteoporosis NSW held its first Walk for Joints event on Sunday to help raise awareness and funds for Arthritis NSW.
The 4km walk started and finished in Bicentennial Park and included many four-legged participants helping their owners pound the pavement.
There was also a shorter course around the park. Many walkers wore blue, the colour used to represent arthritis, and the Tamworth Remedial Massage team was on hand to work on tired muscles.
