THE Tamworth District Junior Rugby Union will be holding the first of its “Future Tahs” Come & Try Days at Tamworth Rugby Park tomorrow afternoon.
The Tri-Colours will be signing on players from 4.30-6pm with another session the following Friday.
The sessions will consist of skills and drills followed by a barbecue.
Coaches, committee members and ARU staff will be on hand to answer questions.
Players can also register for the 2014 season, which will commence on Sunday May 4 at Walcha.
The Tri-Colours are also excited to announce their modified U6s program, which will be run in conjunction with Thursday afternoon training.
Children in this age group can come along to training and learn about the game with designated coaches without having to commit to travelling to the carnivals.
The Tri-Colours are supported by two senior teams in town – Magpies and Pirates – and during the season will train at both clubs’ grounds.
