The Wallabadah trio make up this year’s kindy kids at the local primary school – but they’re not the smallest class on the block around local schoolyards.
The Leader’s special school year series shows that the littlest class is at Currabubula with one student, but small schools at Attunga, Woolomin and Bendemeer boast two in the starting lineup.
The biggest kindy kids’ class this year in the Tamworth district is Tamworth Public, which has 125 students in six classes.
The Kindy Kids will headline our newspaper tomorrow in a monster, 12-page supplement.
It follows yesterday’s opening series of School Leaders which profiled the 2014 leadership teams from government and private schools across the Tamworth education district.
Between the two special supplements we’ve got photos of nearly 1000 students – from 45 schools stretching from Walhallow to Bendemeer and from Niangala to Barraba.
It’s a fascinating pictorial spread – and if you haven’t got your copy of The Leader from yesterday, you can still get one at our office. You can also see all our students online in a special gallery later this week – and you can purchase copies of these wonderful school memories to keep for a lifetime.
