The North Armidale park at 1a The Boulevarde connects homes on Rosecommon Ave through to Donegal Terrace, Ross St and The Boulevarde.

It’s one of two parcels of public land Armidale Dumaresq councillors have agreed to reclassify from community to operational.

The blocks will ultimately be sold for development, with the funds going towards upgrading existing recreational facilities.

Only one resident objected to the sale of The Boulevarde park, saying it was used frequently by local children as a play area.
