Well now you can have your say at the next annual community debrief.
The post-event discussion, which will be held on Monday from 6pm to 8pm at the Tamworth Community Centre in Darling St, was essential to the festival’s future, Tamworth Regional Council mayor Col Murray said.
He said council and the various advisory groups which organise the festival genuinely welcomed feedback.
“The festival is owned by everyone in the region – businesses, ratepayers, residents and industry members,” Cr Murray said.
“At next week’s meeting there is sure to be some criticism as well as some compliments, but it’s important for us to hear what people think.”
Cr Murray said this year’s festival had been widely acknowledged as one of the best in recent years, but there were always opportunities for improvement.
“Providing festival fans with a positive experience is an important part of our marketing strategy – we want people who come to the festival to have such a good time that when they return home they tell their family, friends and workmates how great our event is so then they will come and see it for themselves.”
