The pair made their debut on the show last night after being introduced to the shocked original teams following Sunday night’s episode.
Anna, 26, and Cathy, 55, are vowing to make friends of all the other teams though, despite the fact a number of the contestants already have the knives out for the unwelcome guests.
“Making friends is the whole reason you live life and that is just as important as cooking well for us when we are on the show,” Anna said.
“Mum and I really like everyone who is on the show. There is no rivalry, we aren’t wasting any energy on that. We are just there to cook.”
And cook they will, with classic, homestyle meals on the menu, complete with their own unique twist.
They’ve already admitted to some nerves, but vowing to put taste above looks, and with a healthy dollop of country charm, they may have just discovered the recipe to success on the high stakes show.
