More than 100 riders tested their mountain biking mettle at the TMBC’s Dusk Till Dawn 12 hour race.
The first of its kind in NSW the event kicked-off at 7pm Saturday and finished 7am yesterday.
World 24 Hour Solo champion Jason English won the solo male from Andrew Lloyd and Ben Jacka.
“It was a fairly brutal race,” English told spectators at the presentation ceremony.
“The local club has done really well.
“The trails out there are fantastic – to be honest, they’re awesome.”
Gosford’s world champion Charli McCabe was simple in her assessment.
“It was fantastic,” she said after beating Kirby Knowles and Pauline Raffaele in the sole female event.
Race organiser, Daniel Raffaele, said he had some great feedback and hoped to make next year’s race a bigger and better event.
“It’s been an incredible weekend,” Raffaele told The Leader.
“We’ve had a big turnout and I can’t believe the quality of riders we had here.”
