Saturday tees off with one of the club’s major events – The APJ Law-sponsored Summer Cup – while Sunday is Westpac Helicopter Rescue Service’s charity day.
Sunday looms as the biggest ever four-person ambrose, with great prizes and teeing off with a 10am shotgun start while Saturday is a stableford event.
Some 132 players had nominated to play in Sunday’s Westpac Rescue Helicopter charity day yesterday, where the major sponsor is Grant McCarroll Ford.
Just three spots (groups of four) remained as of yesterday.
Cost for the charity event is $30 per player and includes a BBQ lunch while a band will play live music from 4pm at the club.
Organisers welcome more players but stress they had better hurry and nominate, with just the three group spots remaining.
