But at just eight years old, Glen Innes girl Maddison Crawford has already made up her mind it’s the world for her.
And she’s on the right runway, snagging a prized contract with international kids’ clothing company Pumpkin Patch.
Maddison and her brother Jamie were last year selected into a wildcard group of young hopefuls vying for a modelling contract with the iconic brand.
Maddison was then identified as the top of the group, invited to attend a one-day photo shoot in New Zealand.
“We flew in one day and had the shoot the next,” Maddison’s proud mum Belinda Crawford said.
She said Maddison was a natural in front of the camera, donning the hair and make-up with aplomb and striking a winning smile.
The catalogue will be released early this year, with Maddison to grace the front cover. “We’re feeling a bit famous,” she said.
