A Brazilian man is in intensive care in hospital after falling more than eight metres from a pedestrian bridge in Sydney's Cockle Bay Wharf early this morning.
The 20-year-old Brazilian national, who sustained head injuries and a badly fractured leg from the fall, was found at 4.20am on a footpath near Wheat Road in Darling Harbour. Police believe he fell from the suspended pedestrian bridge.
The young man was taken to St Vincent's Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
Police have spoken with several people who witnessed the fall.
