As one of the best ways to open the country music festivities in Tamworth, the concert will include Bolton Crook Duo, Kalesti Butler, Brett Clarke, Karra Crook, Daniel Higgens, Ryan Morris, Kira Newton and Nathaniel O’Brien.
The Young Guns concert is a chance to showcase some of the brightest rising country artists and this year includes CMAA Academy of Country Music students and Toyota Star Maker finalists.
This is a testament to the talent on offer.
Golden Guitar winner Steve Passfield will compere the show at the Tamworth Golf Club in Mahony Ave from 7pm.
The Capital Country Music Association’s Young Guns Concert is a forum for nurturing up-and-coming talent and always starts the festival on the right foot.
The CCMA has been involved in starting the careers of artists including Keith Urban, Lee Kernaghan, Felicity Urquhart and Aleyce Simmonds.
The Young Guns Concert is a prelude to the Capital Country Music Association’s National Talent Quest that will run on Monday and Tuesday and the giant Jamboree Spectacular in the Tamworth Town Hall on Tuesday night.
Tickets for the Young Guns Concert are available from www.tcmf.com.au or at the door.
