TAMWORTH’S Stephanie Davis leads a busy life that leaves little room for anything else, but she says the Queen of Country Music Quest is worth finding the time for.
Nineteen-year-old Stephanie is sponsored by Tamworth Shoppingworld, where she works at Baker’s Delight, but she also holds down another two jobs at the Tamworth Powerhouse and Jett’s Fitness.
She started working at Baker’s Delight while still a student at McCarthy Catholic College and ended up doing a traineeship there after graduation.
But the fitness industry is where her heart lies, recently completing her personal trainer qualifications.
Jett’s, a 24-hour operation at Tamworth Homemakers, is allowing her to hone those skills and help her clients along the road to a healthier life.
She says all her jobs give her the chance to meet and mix with new people, the quest offering further opportunities in that area.
“I love talking to new people and said ‘yes’ to entering the quest because there’s the chance to experience some different things,” Stephanie said.
“I’ll be stepping out of my comfort zone.”
While her current schedule doesn’t leave room for a lot of “downtime”, Stephanie’s obviously a gym junkie and also likes hitting the netball court.
She said she loved the atmosphere of Tamworth during the festival and enjoyed all the different types of music on offer.
“It is also a great opportunity to mingle and meet people from all walks of life.”
