Wanderers elected to bat after winning the toss and found the Wallabadah bowling accurate and the fielding tight.
Jason Lobsey (1-10) and Kane Montague (1-11) both bowled excellent four-over spells.
After 10 overs, Wanderers were 2-31 and five overs later they had lurched to 5-59 in the face of further good bowling from Ben Douglas (0-25), Matt Parsons (2-22) and Adam Davis (2-24).
A late rally from Dominic Kerr (25no) earned them 96.
Earlier, opener Dave McVicar had topscored with 26 while Mick Sevil (12) and Gavin Slater (10) were the only other batsmen to reach double figures.
Adam Davis then gave Wallabadah a good start with a quickfire 39.
Haddon Montague (18), opener Charlie Simpkins (16) and Matt Parsons (18no) also joined in to ensure Wallabadah reached 4-104 in the 19th over.
Mick Sevil finished with 2-15 and Brodie Slater 1-19 while Hamish Graham (0-14) and Gavin Slater (0-15) bowled tightly in the four and three-over spells.
Quirindi cricket resumes with its 40-over-a-side competition on January 11.
The Quirindi Cricket Association wishes all a merry Christmas and safe and prosperous New Year.
Quirindi will also host its annual Super 8s Big Bash on the Australia Day long weekend.
Spokesman John Lobsey said the annual tournament guarantees excitement for both players and crowds with limited overs and just eight-a-side.
“Massive sixes are standard for the game,” Lobsey said.
“With 12 teams for the weekend, it’s set to be action-packed on, arguably, two of the best grounds in the region.”
Spots are limited, Lobsey said.
“So get some mates together to form a team and sign up,” he said.
