She is one of the biggest movie stars in the world, but Jolie took time out from filming to do a spot of shopping on the weekend.
The Hollywood actor and director visited Collins Bookstore in Peel St on Saturday, catching quite a few locals by surprise.
While it’s still unknown what purchases she made, the mother-of-six was turning heads amongst the bookshelves.
Residents have also reported seeing crew members on Tamworth’s main drag in between shoots.
Much of the filming has been centred in Werris Creek, but they did change set locations on Saturday when the crew shifted to Tamworth Airport.

There was some reports of film crews around the Werris Creek train station yesterday with filming also set down for today in the small town.
The movie chronicles the life of Louis Zamperini, an American track star who survived a plane crash before spending two years as a prisoner of war.
The local locations will depict the 1936 Olympian’s young life before he was enlisted.
