SIRENS sounded to alert kids of Santa’s early-morning arrival at Shoppingworld yesterday as Tamworth police did their bit to help transport the big man in red.
Fifteen lucky kids, aged from 18 months up to six years, won breakfast with Santa after writing him a letter and dropping it in a competition box at Shoppingworld.
He arrived in style in a Tamworth police car, driving through the Bridge St entrance doors and into the shopping centre where his young fans were waiting.
Marketing manager Donna Carey said it was also a way of highlighting to children that police officers were there to help when you needed them.
After breakfast the kids got to meet Santa and each child received a gift.
