Crossing Theatre manager Trent Bruinsma said ticket sales for the Collins Park gig were “very encouraging” yesterday.
“We certainly have the capacity to sell more tickets and are not sold out yet, although it is going strongly,” Mr Bruinsma said. “We certainly think it will go close and we would expect it to sell out, so for those who are planning to come, we would urge them to get their tickets early.”
Mr Bruinsma said there were ticket sales from 9am when the general release opened.
“They’ve been very steady all day,” he said.
“Seating is still available in category one (reserved seating), but as a percentage it is selling more than the others, so if people are hoping to get those, they’ll need to get in early.”
Yesterday, Urban also announced one extra concert each in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.
