SICK and injured teddies will be able to find some much-needed TLC at this year’s St John’s Anglican Church Fete on Saturday.
The ever-popular teddy bear hospital will again feature the toys in the very capable hands of a team of young doctors from Tamworth hospital.
Youngsters will be able to get their furry friends checked out for any possible illness, or they can buy a brand new teddy and have it checked out for good health before going home.
A children’s corner featuring a puppet show, fishing pond and face painting will also amuse the pre-teens, while for parents there will be stalls, second-hand goods, handicrafts, sweet treats, plants and a barbecue.
Music and dancing will take centre stage, with the church the backdrop for organ recitals through the day and an art sale.
All funds raised will go towards the upkeep of the historic church and its surrounds.
