A MOREE couple has been charged with a raft of offences, after cash, drugs and weapons were discovered in a random vehicle stop.
The discovery by police led to a raid on a Krui Pl home, where further items were seized.
Alan Magarry, 29, and 25-year-old Robyn Marie Swan fronted Moree Local Court on Monday after their arrest on Saturday morning.
The pair was stopped by police in Frome St, Moree, about 12.30am for a random breath test.
Checks revealed the man was allegedly in breach of his bail before both were searched by police.
Officers also had cause to search the car and will allege they discovered cash, drugs, ammunition and weapons.
A subsequent search was executed on a home, where ammunition, knives, drug paraphernalia and other items were seized.
Swan is facing four charges, including supplying a prohibited drug that’s more than an indictable quantity, driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or another drug, possessing a prohibited drug and possessing ammunition without a licence.
Magarry has been charged with having goods in personal custody suspected of being stolen, having custody of an offensive implement in a public place and breach of bail.
The pair did not enter pleas to any of the charges but their bail conditions have been continued.
Magarry will return to court on November 11, while Swan had her case adjourned to October 21.
