I WATCHED with amazement as two prisoners climbed onto the roof of a Brisbane prison and began to smash security cameras in a protest of another prisoner coming to the prison.
Police were called and climbed onto the roof to begin negotiations.
These prisoners were in jail for offences that called for a prison term, yet the weak rule-makers make police negotiate.
These scum have no rights to negotiation.
What should happen is that the police climb onto the roof with weapons that fire rubber bullets or bean bags, ask once for them to get down, if not they are shot and brought to the ground – no negotiations, no second chances.
When they face further charges give them an extra two years, then see how many are willing to break the rules.
Come on powers to be, get tough.
