TWO former Tamworth men have risen to the top of one of the world’s most recognisable brands.
Andrew Rennie and Nick Knight, who started working at Domino’s as a teenager in Tamworth, have now both been appointed to senior roles within the pizza company’s corporate structure.
Mr Rennie is now the chief executive officer for Domino’s Australia and New Zealand, while Mr Knight is the Australian and New Zealand operations manager.
Mr Rennie grew up on a farm outside Tamworth and bought his first pizza shop in Darwin at the age of 25, soon owning 11 stores that he has since sold to the company. He has previously worked as the national corporate operations manager, chief executive officer of France and Belgium and chief operating officer.
As Domino’s Australia and New Zealand CEO, he oversees about 600 stores.
Mr Knight has had a similar career path, purchasing his first store in 2003 before adding another 10 to the mix.
His stores were among the highest for online order and sales and in March this year he joined Domino’s corporate team as operations manager before his latest promotion.
