AN UPTURNED Toyota Prado and a Mazda utility were strewn across the New England Highway last night after a two-car collision.
About 5.30pm the cars collided at the intersection of Spains Ln, Whitehouse Ln and the New England Highway, trapping one person.
A woman was injured and was taken to Tamworth hospital with suspected neck injuries.
No one else was seriously injured in the crash, with Fire and Rescue NSW left to clean up a fuel spill over the road.
The accident shut one lane of the highway for a couple of hours, with police alternating traffic through the site.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
