Anytime Fitness Tamworth will be hosting three “yellow” yoga classes today, with half of all fees donated to the Cancer Council.
Business development manager Felicity Higgins encouraged members and non-members alike to don a piece of yellow clothing, grab their yoga mat and come along to have some fun.
“We’ve got three running throughout the day, one at 7am, 1.30pm and 5.30pm and Tara our trainer is going to be doing it,” she said.
It’s the first time the gym has hosted a Daffodil Day event and staff say they are passionate about the cause – with many of their families touched by the disease.
“It’s just to bring awareness of cancer and raise money for the Cancer Council as well,” Ms Higgins said.
Refreshments, with a signature yellow theme, including yellow cupcakes and yellow protein balls, will also feature throughout the day.
Classes cost $10 each, with $5 going to the charity.
