FOURTEEN employees of Hunter New England Health in the northern region have been fired, disciplined or resigned following the distribution of inappropriate content via work email accounts.
The employees were believed to have sent and stored pornographic and otherwise inappropriate material through their work emails, including staff at Tamworth hospital.
It is understood some of the staff involved held senior positions and this latest incident was the second of its kind to take place in recent months.
