TAMWORTH’S Chamber of Commerce will host two events for members during July.
Member for Tamworth Kevin Anderson will be the special guest at a leaders’ forum on Tuesday, and will discuss “The state of the state and the budget that was”. The event will be held from noon at the Tamworth Golf Club.
Darren ‘The Gun’ Flanagan will be the Chamber’s guest speaker at the July Business Breakfast nine days later.
The breakfast will be held at the Quality Hotel Powerhouse on Thursday, July 19 from 7am.
Mr Flanagan was the man directly responsible for helping to save the lives of Beaconsfield miners Brant Webb and Todd Russell after they became trapped.
During his guest appearance at the breakfast Mr Flanagan will host a WorkCover workshop – “Keeping Small Business Safe”.
