No reason for vitriol towards Kate over dress choice

Charles Mathews, from Bendemeer, writes about a recent fashion article published in The Leader.

WITH reference to the article that appeared on page 38 of Saturday’s The Northern Daily Leader titled “Question: Who wore it best”, in which a “nonentity” named Maggie Alderson had the temerity to endeavour to vitriolicly destroy the Duchess of Cambridge and Kim Kardashian, because they wore red attire that didn’t happen to please Miss Alderton. Fortuitously, there was a relative article above – Miss Alderson’s – which puts her problem in a nutshell as follows: bad sleep, cranky day, if you don’t snooze you lose.

Both ladies in question cannot defend themselves, because of protocol.

Therefore, I respectfully suggest Miss Alderson abide by the old adage of “if you can’t say something nice about someone, don’t say anything at all”.

It would be interesting to see Miss Alderson attired in a dress or costume as a comparison.
