A WOMAN accused of breaking into a house in South Tamworth, was refused bail until next week.
Danielle Waters, 32, allegededly broke into the home of an elderly couple in Oak St on Tuesday morning.
Waters appeared in court yesterday after being charged with aggravated break and enter.
She was refused bail until her next appearance on Monday where her matter will be heard via audo videolink.
Waters is accused of cutting the fly screen of the Oak St house and stealing cash and jewellery once inside.
The house belongs to a couple in their mid-70s who confronted the woman.
A 77-year-old man chased her from the scene.
Police were called and the couple provided them with a description of the woman, and Waters was arrested in the area a short time later.
Police said they're investigating links to the break-in and other offer offences in the area which have happened at similar times of day.
