A PERSON has escaped without injury from a house fire in Johnston St, North Tamworth.
One occupant was at home at the time when a fire took hold in the front bedroom and hallway.
The fire was contained to these rooms and was quickly brought under control by the Fire and Rescue NSW Tamworth brigade.
