A P-PLATER has been caught drink-driving and using a mobile phone while driving in Tamworth.
About 9.20pm on Friday, police pulled over a man using his hand-held mobile phone while driving along Marius St.
The P2 provisional licence-holder was also breath-tested and a breath analysis at the Tamworth Police Station returned a reading of 0.037.
The blood alcohol limit for P-platers is zero.
He was charged with special-range PCA and use a mobile phone while driving.
