CUISINES and cultures from around the world were celebrated by hundreds of people last Friday at Oxley High School's 30th annual International Night.
About 850 people attended the event to enjoy the multicultural feast and entertainment from some of the school's talented performers.
Oxley High School's incoming principal, Simon Bartlett-Taylor, was also welcomed on the night.
Event co-ordinator Robyn Hughes said the effort the school's staff and students put into the event was outstanding, producing a brilliant evening.
She thanked staff for putting in the extra time and effort after-hours to make the event a success.
International Night is one of the school's major fundraisers.
Ms Hughes said while the final tally had not been counted, the evening usually netted the school somewhere in the order of $7000.
