POLICE have charged a man in relation to an armed robbery at a Moree service station last year.
The robbery happened on July 16, when a shop attendant was approached by a man armed with a screwdriver about 7pm.
The man demanded cash from the till and threatened the employee with the screwdriver, police said.
The 19-year-old employee got into a scuffle with the man before he fled the Frome St service station with cash.
Barwon police arrested a 32-year-old man over the incident at a Tawarri St house on Friday night.
He was taken to the Moree Police Station and charged with robbery armed with an offensive weapon and resisting an officer in the execution of duty.
