THREE break-ins occurred at Coledale Community Centre during the weekend, with police keen to hear from anyone who may be able to help them find the offenders.
It’s believed a mixed group of Aboriginal and white youths were responsible for the chaos which greeted a staff member who discovered the first evidence of a break-in at 2.45pm on Sunday.
Another break-in occurred at 5.20pm on Sunday and the third one also happened during Sunday, Tamworth police said.
Damage included a roller door detached from its mountings at the back of the centre, barbecue sauce and eggs thrown everywhere and the sliding glass door to the child-care centre inside being pried open with a pitchfork.
Nothing was taken but orange juice was drunk and a flyscreen was removed.
Sergeant Fuhrmann said a number of young persons were seen in the area and police would like people to come forward with any information as to their identities.
