THE New England Highway reopened this morning following a fatal crash between Tenterfield and Glen Innes.
The accident reportedly involved a car and happened at Bolivia, 30km south of Tenterfield just after 11pm.
An Ambulance NSW spokesman told Fairfax Regional Digital they had responded to reports that a car had crashed into a cliff face.
A person had died at the scene before their arrival.
Investigations are continuing.
Additionally, all lanes of the New England Highway have been reopened 45km south of Glen Innes following another accident which involved a truck accident earlier this morning.
The northbound carriageway was blocked with stop/slow conditions in place, however the accident is now clear with traffic returning to normal.
