ANOTHER car has been stolen and set alight in the third such incident in seven days in the Oxley Local Area Command.
A 4WD vehicle was reported stolen along with a wallet from a property at Moore Creek, between the hours of 9.30pm and 11pm on Monday.
The blue Pajero was reportedly set alight on Wallamore Rd, with NSW Fire and Rescue extinguishing the blaze just after 11pm. The vehicle was destroyed.
Last week three vehicles were stolen overnight on Wednesday and set alight on remote roads in two separate incidents.
Police said there were no signs of forced entry at the Moore Creek home and reminded residents to secure their homes and vehicles before retiring for the night.
