A body discovered near tenterfield has been identified as male.
THE body found near a Tenterfield national park last week has been identified as that of a man.
A crime scene has been set up in the Basket Swamp National Park, about 25km north-east of Tenterfield, after a park ranger located the body near a remote campsite on Friday.
Police will now prepare a report for the Coroner.
Pol-Air joined State Emergency Service volunteers and detectives from New England Command in searching the area for evidence over the weekend and into Monday.
