Tough choice for cavalcade judges

IT WAS a tough choice for judges of this year’s cavalcade, who had more than 100 entries to pick from.

The best commercial or business float ultimately went to Parmalat Food Products.

Second place went to the Tamworth City Dance Academy, while third went to JoHanna Dance Studio and Parry Logistics.

The best non-commercial or community entry went to Don’t Waste Tamworth.

Second place went to the Tamworth Business Chamber and third place went to the Tamworth Songwriters’ Association.

Northcott Disability Services and Fire and Rescue NSW were highly commended.

The best equine entry went to King of the Ranges Stockman’s Challenge and was followed closely by the Australian Miniature Horse Association.
