The artists and musicians ncluded Lee Kernaghan, the Wolfe Brothers, Morgan Evans, Marcus Meier and the Topp Twins.
The idea for the concert came from the generosity of rising country stars and Tasmanian locals the Wolfe Brothers and many other country artists were quick to jump on board.
“We have many friends who have been affected by the fires here in Tasmania," Tom Wolfe said.
“To be able to help in our own small way feels right, and to be a part of such a massive line-up is a real honour for us.
Lee said he wanted to make sure the affected families knew Australia was thinking of them, and that the artists wanted to support them as much as possible.
“When we see country communities affected by natural disasters like these bush fires it is overwhelming,” Lee said.
All ticket sales will go to support the Red Cross Tasmanian Bushfire 2013 Appeal.
