Skye’s Law over Moree pursuit

A GLOUCESTER woman involved in a police pursuit in Moree on Tuesday has been charged under Skye's Law.

The pursuit, which occurred on the Newell Highway just after 8am, reached speeds of up to 140km/h before ending in the woman's arrest in Moree.

The 52-year-old woman was charged with not stopping after a police pursuit (Skye's Law), driving dangerously and driving in a speed or manner recklessly.

Her bail was refused and she will appear in Moree Local Court on Monday.
