Man in court over sale of stolen guns

TAMWORTH detectives have charged a man with allegedly selling firearms stolen from a Barraba home during a break-in last year.

The 28-year-old  man was arrested by police on Crow Mountain Rd, Manilla on Tuesday afternoon and was expected to front court today, charged with unlawfully selling firearms and four counts of selling firearms without authority.

Police allege the guns were stolen from an Alice St home in March last year.

He was refused bail by police pending today's appearance in Tamworth Local COurt.
