The physical presence of FanZone will be in Fitzroy St, but there will also be electronic components to allow fans to get even closer to the stars.
The mobile phone-enabled Country Music FanZone website.
au will launch on January 18 and will bring some of the fun of Tamworth to fans all over the world.
Being online and running 24-hours-a-day and all year ’round, it will mean country music artists and fans can come together any day of the year with news, announcements, nation-wide gig guides, exclusive launches, merchandise, trivia and, most importantly, that coveted artist/fan interaction.
Fans will also able to directly interact with their favourite stars in real, online time via social media hubbing.
The website has four key areas; Launch Pad, Country Music News, Live Beats and Social Stage, with further artist/fan online interactions scoped for release during the year.
Launch Pad is where fans can hear exclusive album and single launches from their favourite stars and will feature artist interviews, new music video clips, behind the scenes footage and preview clips from recent gigs, giving fans the opportunity to get to know their favourite stars on a whole new level.
Country Music News will stream the most up-to-date Australian country music news stories, announcements and developments from a variety of industry sources. The tile will post news live, as and when it happens, giving fans immediate access to the latest news.
Live Beats is a gig guide listing year ’round country music gigs, concerts, festivals and events, both large and intimate, from across the country. Fans will be able to filter gigs by artist name, dates and location, with links to buy tickets right away, giving fans access to the latest gig information right at their fingertips.
Social Stage will provide fans the opportunity to interact directly with their favourite stars via a social media hub.
It will pull in comments, photos and posts uploaded by artists and fans to their Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube accounts.
All permitted posts will appear in a centralised “live tile hub” on the FanZone website where, for the first time, fans will be able to view all of their favourite country music stars’ social media activity as and when it happens on the one screen. They can also respond if they wish.
Planned enhancements during 2013 include an online store, a shop where fans can download music, a competition and giveaway hub, and enhanced, more personal fan/artist interactions including webinars and Skype technology.
The Country Music FanZone website will be launched at the Toyota Country Music Festival in Tamworth on Friday at the Toyota FanZone marquee in Fitzroy St.
The marquee will be open for the duration of the Festival from 9am to 6.30pm each day from January 18-26 where fans can get up close and personal with their favourite stars for signings, photo opportunities and acoustic performances.
