IT’S been said it was so windy it could blow a dog off a chain and it’s so hot you could fry an egg on a car.
It got to 42.5 degrees (officially) on Saturday and The Northern Daily Leader took on its own Mythbusters experiment to see about the egg.
Well, the saying is wrong.
We couldn’t fry the egg on the car, but we found out it could damage the paintwork a little, so don’t try this at home.
