A THIEF has made off with $5000 in small coins during a break-and-enter at a Moore Creek property.
The theft occurred between 6.30pm on Tuesday and 8am on Wednesday at a residence in Whiporie Cl.
Police said the offenders entered through an unlocked rear door and made off with the stash of $1 and $2 coins.
Police are reminding residents in rural and remote areas to secure their homes after a number of break-ins in more isolated areas in recent weeks.
