A TEENAGER will face Tamworth Children’s Court in February following an alleged road-rage attack at Nemingha.
Police arrested the 17-year-old after the incident on the New England Highway early Wednesday morning where a motorist was allegedly kicked several times, resulting in a number of injuries.
Police will allege the teen was a passenger in a car with another two people which followed and harassed the motorist, who then stopped the car and was subsequently assaulted.
The teenager is charged with assault and affray and was refused bail at his first court appearance. He will face Tamworth Children’s Court on February 5.
