The Australia-wide initiative is about teaching children the art of reading and opening their eyes to the fantasy world behind reading.
Participants up to 16 can take part in various activities both online and in their libraries.
Tamworth and Quirindi launched their program for the reading club in early December, and already have more than 60 registrations.
Werris Creek library launched its program on January 2. Part of it will be at the Werris Creek pool on January 16 for story time, craft and games in the pool.
