Truth, justice, healing the Catholic way

A Royal commission into child abuse has been set to go ahead, approved by 99 per cent of the population.

As far as I am aware this royal commission embraces all religions and has the power to call anyone regardless of sex, age or position to answer questions.

Fudging, smoke-screening and rhetoric, the more verbal diarrhoea the more confusion is certain, and will be put to the public by those with a deliberate wish to hide, or with an inability to accept fallibility.

The Catholic Church has set up another body, this time called the Truth Justice and Healing Council headed by retired NSW Supreme Court chief judge Barry O’Keefe and a former AMA secretary-general Frances Sullivan (Catholics both) to aid the royal commission’s inquiries.
