Police stopped a 19-year-old man on Macquarie St at 3.30am after he was warned about offensive behaviour for language and gestures made towards police. He was given a notice to move on, but failed to comply so he was arrested. He was found to be in breach of bail.
He was given bail again at Tamworth Bail Court yesterday to appear in Tamworth Local Court on December 17.
A 22-year-old man was charged with malicious damage after he was asked to leave a licensed premises on Marius St, Tamworth, due to intoxication at 2.25am yesterday.
Security guards saw the man kick the doors of a courtesy bus from the hotel, smashing the glass. The alleged offender was detained by security until police arrived.
He was bailed to appear in Tamworth Local Court on January 7.
A 38-year-old man had his licence suspended after he was stopped for a random breath test by police patrolling Robert St in South Tamworth,.
The man produced a positive sample and was arrested and taken to Tamworth Police Station for a further breath test which recorded a reading of 0.090.
He was charged with mid-range PCA and issued a court attendance notice to appear in Tamworth Local Court on January 1.
